A number of Stanmore residents have been asking me lately what could be done to help revitalise their village centre. I agree that this would be a wonderful initiative for Inner West Council, so I've started consulting with urban planners and local businesses to see what could be done. Here are some initial thoughts - please let me know what you think.

I've now doorknocked most streets in the Stanmore ward, and residents have been raising lots of local issues with me and asking how I'd respond if I'm elected to Inner West Council. Here's a summary of some of the key local concerns that have been raised with me, along with how I'll work in this areas if elected.

Like many Inner West residents, Pauline was appalled by the way our councils were swept aside by the NSW Government after our Liberal and Labor former Councillors defied our community’s wishes to help push the merger through.
