We take a quick look at which parts of the Inner West Council come under the Stanmore ward.
Note: This article was originally written in 2017, but the same borders still apply to the Damun/Stanmore ward and Inner West Council for the 2021 election. This year's election will take place on Saturday 4 September 2021, and the article's been updated to reflect this.
The Stanmore ward of the new Inner West Council includes all or part of the following suburbs:
- Lewisham
- Petersham
- Stanmore
- Newtown
- Enmore
- Camperdown
The blue area in the map below shows the Stanmore ward. Note that some streets are split down the middle. Where this happens, one side of that street lies in Stanmore ward, while the opposite side lies in a different Inner West Council ward or the City of Sydney.
If you think your street falls within the Inner West Council, but outside of the Stanmore ward, you can check this by viewing the entire Inner West Council ward map.
