Camdenville Public School on Radio Skid Row

I'm very proud of Emmy, Catriona and Marla from Newtown's Camdenville Public School, who were the guest stars on Radio Skid Row's breakfast show on Thursday 7 December.

I met Emmy, Catriona and Marla when their teacher, Louisa, invited me to come in to review her class's local history projects. The girls had produced a podcast about Aboriginal history in and around Marrickville, and were keen to see if it could be broadcast on a local radio station.

So it was my pleasure to pass their podcast on to my friend and fellow Inner West Council councillor, Marrickville ward's Colin Hesse, who hosts Close to Home on Radio Skid Row every Thursday morning. I think they all did brilliantly. Have a listen to their interview and their podcast below.
